eLML Support

Since eLML is an OpenSource project, we do not have office opening hours and telephone support. Before contacting any eLML developers, please read this page carefully on how to submit questions or contact anyone involved in eLML. You will find all the links listed below in on the eLML Sourceforge project page in the horizontal upper menu. Here are some direct links if you want to...

• ...submit a bug: Check the Bugtracker if your bug is already listed, if not please submit it.
• ...contact tech support: Browse the Support section for an answer. If you dont find it, submit a request.
• ...request a feature: Is eLML missing a crucial feature? Either programm it yourself and/or submit a RFE.
• ...discuss an issue: There is a public forum for general discussions. Do not use for bugs, support or RFE!
• ...stay informed: We offer a newsletter and other subscriptions. Please read below.
• ...read the manual: The latest eLML manual and XMLSchema documentation can within the eLML package
• ...know something else: Check out the Sourceforges' eLML Support page.

Some of these features only work if you are a registered Sourceforge member. Becoming a member is free and we strongly recommend it because this way we will be able to contact you for any further inqueries.

eLML News

We offer four mailing lists that you can subscribe (free):

• Newsletter: Get news about eLML. Low traffic (max. once or twice a month) moderated news list.
• Users (Authors & developers): A medium traffic list about technical discussions between eLML developers. Not moderated but only available for subscribed developers.
• CVS Messages: A high traffic mailing list where all CVS commit messges are automatically sent to. Postings on this list are not allowed. For developers.
• Tracker Messages : A high traffic mailing list where all Tracker (Bug, Support, RFE) messges are automatically sent to. Postings on this list are not allowed. For developers.

Besides these two newsletters, Sourceforge offers other tools that you can subscribe to:

• eLML News: Published both on the main www.eLML.ch and Sourceforge Homepage. Please note that each news has also a comment button, if you would like to clarify or ask something regarding this issue.
• Monitor new files releases: On the eLML Sourceforge page click under "Latest File Releases" the "Monitor" newsletter icon to automatically stay informed about new eLML released. Only available for registered Sourceforge members.
• RSS feeds: You are welcome to include some of our RSS feeds into your website! Dropping us a note would be nice. Thanks
